The Harmony Heart Necklace consists of several intricate designs which have symbolic meaning. The semi-colon, the universal sign for mental health awareness & suicide prevention is incorporated in the fractured part of the heart. The semi-colon is utilized in grammar as a means to continue a sentence rather than ending it with a period. Just as with suicide the author continues to keep going on in their story rather than end by suicide. The broken heart, the semi colon & at the apex where butterflies emerge speaks to the individuals who never feel their heart fully healed after a fight with mental health illness or for individuals who have lost a loved one to suicide.

The butterflies are symbolic of flying, resilience, potential for growth and transformation. The two butterflies represent community & compassion.
